## 3. Account and Sign-In Information
When you create an account or sign in, we process account identifiers and authentication information. If you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google or Apple, we may receive information such as your name, email address, and profile information according to that provider’s privacy settings.
## 4. Practice Sessions, Audio, and Musical Data
Clariva may collect and process practice sessions, audio recordings, note events, pitch, timing, articulation, intonation, rhythm, loudness, passage attempts, scores, and related musical analysis data. This information is used to provide practice feedback, visualizations, statistics, synchronization, storage, and related Clariva features.
## 5. Device, Usage, and Log Information
We may collect technical and usage information such as device type, operating system, app version, login events, feature usage, screen views, interaction events, engagement information, error logs, network information, analytics information, and diagnostic information. This may include aggregated or pseudonymous analytics data provided through third-party analytics and crash reporting providers such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. This helps us operate, secure, debug, and improve Clariva.
## 6. Social Features
Clariva may include profiles, feeds, follows, applause, comments, notifications, leaderboards, and shared practice content. Depending on your settings and the visibility you choose, some information may be visible to other Clariva users.
## 7. How We Use Information
We use information to create and maintain your account, provide practice analysis, store and sync sessions, display statistics and progress, support social features, personalize your experience, provide customer support, improve Clariva, protect users, detect misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
## 8. Automated Analysis and Machine Learning
Clariva uses signal processing, machine learning, and automated analysis to infer notes, pitch, timing, articulation, intonation, passage matches, and other practice information. These systems may be used to provide feedback and improve the quality and reliability of Clariva.
## 9. Cloud Storage and Local Storage
Clariva may store some data locally on your device and some data in cloud storage. Session metadata, profile information, settings, social data, and selected practice data may be synchronized so that Clariva works across devices. Audio or feature data may be stored locally, in the cloud, or both, depending on product settings and storage limits.
## 10. Sharing With Service Providers
We may share information with service providers who help us operate Clariva, such as hosting providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, crash reporting providers, payment processors, and app stores. For example, Clariva may use services such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, improve reliability, diagnose technical issues, and improve the user experience. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Clariva.
## 11. Third-Party Services
Clariva may integrate with third-party services such as Google, Apple, app stores, payment providers, or future music-related integrations. Your use of those services may be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
## 12. Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons
We may process or disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal requests, protect Clariva, prevent misuse or fraud, enforce our Terms, protect users, or address security or technical issues.
## 13. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Clariva, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve the service, and enforce our agreements. You may be able to delete sessions or request account deletion, subject to technical and legal limitations.
## 14. Your Choices and Rights
